Paradise Valley Spring Water Bottling Plant has been developed as part of the popular New Zealand and internationally renowned Paradise Valley Springs Complex.
The Spring named Te Waireka meaning "sweet water" has according to local legend healing properties and in days gone by was used to heal sick and wounded warriors.
Paradise Valley Spring Water with its cool refreshing taste, fell as rain high in Rotorua's isolated Mamaku Ranges. The water is then released from the ground at Paradise Valley Springs up to 150 years later. The water is expelled from the Spring at a constant flow of 60ltr a second and at a temperature of 12 degrees.
The water is collected from below the ground surface and piped 100m to a housed 30,000 ltr holding tank adjacent to the production facility.
