The Woolston Club formally known as The Woolston Workingmans Club Inc was officially opened by Norman Kirk on 22nd Dec 1953.
Now 50 years on the Club now stands on 18 acres of grounds in the residential area of Woolston Christchurch. The Club is both a home to its 5000 members and a major local community entertainment and leisure facility.
